WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) — The FBI has fired several intelligence analysts involved in a 2023 memo targeting so-called “radical traditionalist Catholic ideology,” which was one of the most infamous examples of the Biden administration’s “weaponization” of government.
In 2023, a leaked memo revealed that the Biden-era FBI’s Richmond Field Office under Stanley M. Meador targeted “radical traditionalist Catholics” who prefer to attend the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) as potential “violent extremists” and “white nationalists.” The memo cited as a primary source a study from the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a notorious purveyor of false and misleading content portraying mainstream Christian and conservative views as “hate.”
The memo was met with widespread condemnations, prompting the FBI to retract it, and now, MS Now reports that “at least five” analysts from the Richmond office involved with the memo’s creation have been fired. The FBI has so far declined to comment on the news but the terminations follow an unspecified number of firings and resignations previously confirmed by FBI Director Kash Patel in September 2025.
The politicization of justice was one of the defining controversies of the Biden years, from the prosecutions of pro-life activists and a gender “transition” whistleblower to lax prosecution of pro-abortion violence.
In January 2023 a jury found Philadelphia pro-life activist Mark Houck not guiltyafter the Biden administration tried to make a federal case out of a local altercation with an out-of-control pro-abortion agitator. During his first week back in office in 2025, President Donald Trump pardoned a group of 23 pro-life activists who the Biden DOJ had jailed for peaceful protests outside of abortion facilities.
Former FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland eventually apologized for the Richmond memo, but Meador privately told the memo’s author, “No apology needed,” and that the incident would “make for a great chapter in your memoirs some day!”
The Biden administration exhibited general hostility to conscience rights in the areas of abortion, vaccines, and girls’ sports.
“The Biden Administration’s policies regularly clashed with a Christian worldview and burdened traditional religious practices,” a recent U.S. Justice Department report summarized. “These conflicts frequently arose over abortion, gender ideology, and sexual orientation. Ultimately, the Biden Administration penalized Christians who lived in accordance with their beliefs.”
In April, another DOJ report also revealed how the Biden administration coordinated with the National Abortion Federation (NAF) on legal action against pro-life activists, benefitting from dossiers that NAF compiled on activists and organizations that contained sensitive information, such as home addresses.

Yes, the views of authentic Christians are hate, but that is not a full and accurate summation. Rather the views of authentic Christians are hate of disobedience to God’s holy immutable laws in thought, word and deed, and love of obedience to God’s holy immutable laws in thought, word and deed, as God commands. Hence hate the sin, but love the sinner. When the demonic inspired agents of the SPLC are rightfully convicted for their many statutory violations, part of their sentencing must include comprehensive sensitivity training to unwash their brains of black supremacy, anti-“white” supremacy and anti-Christian supremacy.
