Former County Clerk of Mesa County, Colorado, Tina Peters has been released from jail Monday after being imprisoned under Biden administration rule in 2022 for allegedly trying to help President Trump “overturn the election.”

“It’s been quite the ordeal, but I really want to thank God for His faithfulness and for getting me through it,” Said Peters in her premiere interview on Steve Bannon’s WarRoom. “It’s a miracle.”

Moreover, an effort to investigate the mistreatment of Peters has been launched.

“I write to urge an investigation of potential federal civil-rights violations of Tina Peters,” said Attorney Mike Davis Monday. “The evidence is clear: Colorado government officials conspired to severely, unconstitutionally, and criminally punish Tina Peters because of her First Amendment-protected views on election integrity.”
