Online retailer Amazon reportedly delisted media analyst Mark Dice’s best-selling book, The War On Conservatives, earlier this month, going on to re-list it after a media outlet inquired about its removal.
On Monday, The Daily Caller reported Dice’s 2023 book, which reached Number 4 on Amazon’s bestseller list, had inexplicably been removed on June 16 despite thousands of five-star ratings and numerous positive reviews.
Speaking to the Caller, Dice said he escalated the issue to Amazon’s corporate office after an appeal he’d filed was denied, but the company’s executive customer relations team also upheld the removal.
In an email to Dice, “Joan” from Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing department said his book wouldn’t be republished “because the content might result in a disappointing user experience” – despite the book’s previous five-star rating.
“They dumped the book down the memory hole and made it appear as if it never even existed,” he told the Caller, noting reviews and ratings were temporarily wiped.
The conservative commentator, whose YouTube channel boasts nearly 2 million subscribers, credited the Daily Caller’s inquiry for getting Amazon to re-list his book, saying, “The company denied my initial appeal, denied my executive appeal, and only restored the listing after a reporter contacted them for comment, which clearly signaled the issue was about to make headlines.”
“If Amazon had truly reconsidered the case on its own, they had every opportunity to do so during the appeal process,” Dice stated. “Instead, the reversal came only after media scrutiny, which speaks volumes.”
“I think it’s obvious Amazon was determined to censor the book until they received the media inquiry from the Daily Caller and realized it wasn’t going to happen quietly and was about to turn into a major news story,” he added.
The War On Conservatives, which contains 921 footnotes, breaks down the far-left’s efforts to reshape America by attacking American institutions and traditions, Christianity, the nuclear family, the free market, and white people, and exposes Democrats’ attempts to censor free speech through cancel culture, with Antifa and Black Lives Matter doing their dirty work on the ground.
Dice suggested since Amazon saw his book was “from a small independent publisher, they figured they could just sweep the issue under the rug without it making any waves.”
In a comment to the Daily Caller, an Amazon spokesperson claimed “this title was removed in error,” adding that it’s “now available for sale.”
Dice is currently working on a new book due to come out at the end of the year.

Mark should look into New Christian Right to publish his next book just in case Amazon tries to delete the book from the internet. It’s about time for some upgrades.
