U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) just disrupted several significant human smuggling attempts in Southern California, including one involving a double-trailer big rig.

On Monday, USBP El Centro Sector released information and details about two interceptions that unfolded in Westmorland, a small city roughly 30 miles north of the Mexican border.

During one incident, agents stopped a Chevy Tahoe carrying seven illegal aliens.

Separately, 27 illegals were found concealed in bottom-dump trailers being pulled by a semi.

Aerial photographs show the illegals, most of whom appear to be male, sitting in the sand after being removed from the vehicle.

In total, 34 illegal aliens were taken into custody.

Days earlier, El Centro Sector agents captured a Mexican illegal alien with an active federal warrant out of Arizona for possession of a firearm.

The fugitive, who had a prior arrest for conspiracy to sell cocaine, was driving a vehicle packed with merchandise that was suspect stolened, marijuana, and cash.

The Trump administration recently announced that there have been zero releases of illegal border crossers for 13 consecutive months.
