The Secret Service missed over 100 radio transmissions warning them about the man who tried to assassinate President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania during the 2024 election.
The shocking failings of Secret Service agents, which allowed Thomas Matthew Crooks to fire multiple times on the then-candidate Donald Trump, were detailed in a report released by the Department of Homeland Security on Thursday.
The report’s most significant finding was the Secret Service members did not receive 102 radio transmissions “that local law enforcement officers in a separate communications room received concerning an increasingly intense search for a suspicious person. Instead, we found that the Secret Service received only five phone calls and three text messages about Crooks. As a result, Secret Service members did not alert President Trump’s protective detail about concerns of a suspicious person.”
If Secret Service agents had received these calls, they could have apprehended Crooks or delayed the event.
The report also describes how Secret Service agents failed to detect a drone Crooks flew over the venue two hours before the attack.
The agents’ counter-drone system was offline because of a malfunction.
Crooks flew the drone for nine minutes, which allowed him to survey the stage where Trump would speak and the rooftop he used as a sniper’s perch.
The report detailed other serious communication breakdowns between Secret Service and law enforcement. Secret Service never received three reports from law enforcement that Crooks was on the roof with a rifle.
Classified intelligence about a long-range threat to Trump was also never shared with the Pittsburgh field office of the Secret Service. If the intelligence had been shared, more agents would have been deployed to the rally.
The Epoch Times reports, “Investigators further concluded that the Secret Service failed to ensure the American Glass Research complex, where Crooks launched the attack, was secured by state and local law enforcement. In addition, the agency did not use available resources to block the rooftop’s line of sight to the stage, despite recognizing it as a potential vulnerability.
“The inspector general issued seven recommendations to improve protective operations. The Secret Service agreed with all of them, and the report said some have already been implemented while others remain in progress.”

Big uniparty. Citizens arent a part of it.
They didn’t miss anything, they deliberately chose to wait and allowed the assassin spend an hour getting into position, lining up his target, and firing rounds at Chump before they took action.
