Mexican Illegal Who Crossed Biden’s Border as ‘Minor’ Charged With Shooting 12-Year-Old Girl in Kansas

An illegal alien unleashed by the Biden regime has been charged with shooting a preteen victim in Kansas.

The horrifying incident unfolded in Wichita on July 3, but the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) just released the suspect’s immigration background.

Wichita police were called to a residential neighborhood where they found a 12-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.

Diego Moreno-Espinoza, 19, was reportedly handling a firearm when he accidentally shot the child, authorities say.

Moreno-Espinoza was taken into custody and charged with aggravated battery.

Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) lodged a detainer against Moreno-Espinoza, a Mexican national who is in the U.S. illegally.

Moreno-Espinoza crossed the southern border into Arizona in 2024 and was released into the interior after claiming to be a minor.

“This criminal would not even be in our country if it weren’t for the reckless open-border policies of the Biden Administration that released this thug into our country,” DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. 

“We have requested Kansas officials turn this criminal over to ICE so he cannot commit more heinous crimes in our country.” 

Moreno-Espinoza is being held at the Sedgwick County Jail on $50,000 bond.
