Trump Says He Doesn’t Consider Americans’ Financial Woes In Regard To Iran War

While speaking to reporters Tuesday President Donald Trump said that he doesn’t factor in Americans’ financial hardship to his diplomacy with Iran. Global energy prices have skyrocketed from damage done to refining capacity in both the Iran and Ukraine wars, as well as the closure of the Strait of Hormuz choking off energy exports from the Arabian Gulf.

“When you’re negotiating with Iran Mr. President, to what extent are Americans’ financial situations motivating you to make a deal?” a reporter asked Trump.

“Not even a little bit,” Trump replied. “The only thing that matters when I’m talking about Iran – They can’t have a nuclear weapon. I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation.”

The reporter later asked the President “Did you say earlier that the only thing that matters to you when it comes to Iran is a nuclear weapon, you’re not considering the financial impact of this war on Americans?”

Trump replied that the stock market is at an all-time high, but that the most important thing is keeping Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. Note that with currency inflation the stock market will continue to rise in nominal terms.

Alex Jones Live has recently reported on how three-quarters of Americans see the cost of living as their biggest economic problem, how job market optimism among younger Americans has dropped to Great Recession levels and how the stagnating economy is creating an environment more permissive to a big brother prison planet takeover.

MassLive explained the economic impact perspective of the conflict in their video description:

Trump’s comments came as new Labor Department data showed Americans facing another sharp rise in consumer prices last month, fueled in part by higher gasoline costs tied to the war with Iran. The Labor Department’s consumer price index rose 3.8% from April 2025, the biggest jump in three years. Pressed about the financial strain Americans are facing, Trump argued the public overwhelmingly agrees with his position that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. “Every American understands,” Trump insisted. “They understand that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.” Prices are rising at a time when Americans are already frustrated by the high cost of living. Affordability is likely to be a key issue when voters go to the polls Nov. 3 to determine whether President Donald Trump’s Republican Party maintains control of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.

Since Operation Midnight Hammer in June 2025 Alex Jones has been warning that if President Donald Trump gets into a war with Iran the economy would tank due to energy prices getting rocked by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
