1. The scenario Ticktin outlines has a frighteningly high probability of becoming reality. It plays to the Democrat’s strength, which is strict party control over how members vote. Republicans could never hold together enough to implement such a strategy, there would always be sell outs. But Democrats will reliably vote as the party directs. In addition, it will be much easier for them to steal individual races at the State level, where the states conduct their own elections.

   Tickin’s nightmare would happen at the beginning of next year (i.e. in 8 short months), not in 2029 following the 2028 elections. We are in need of a plan.
