A week after the massive June 25 Ukrainian drone attack on Russian targets including Moscow, the Kremlin responded with strikes against the Ukrainian capital city, Kiev. According to the Ukrainian air force, Russia launched 74 missiles and 496 drones.
Wednesday night’s attack comes one week after Ukraine’s largest drone offensive of the war. The Russian government said it targeted “military, energy sites and airports” in the overnight strikes which were retaliation for the June 25 offensive.

“Russia launched hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles at Kyiv in the early hours on Thursday, killing at least 21 people, wounding scores more and damaging around 130 buildings,” Reuters said. “Multiple explosions shook central Kyiv and reverberated across the capital throughout the night as thousands of residents rushed to bomb shelters and underground metro stations.”
Ukrainian Dictator Vladimir Zelensky posted video of the aftermath on Thursday:

Станом на зараз відомо про трьох… pic.twitter.com/wGGikR433i

Zelensky then discussed his need for more anti-missile systems, appealing to President Donald Trump:
Unfortunately, there is a shortage of anti-ballistic capabilities – a shortage of Patriots – while Putin still intends to “vanquish” residential buildings rather than end his war.
We have been discussing licenses for the production of Patriots with the U.S. Administration for a long time already. I thank all the countries helping through the PURL program, which enables us to purchase interceptors for Patriots. However, to reliably protect lives, we need our own production.
European production here in Ukraine, or jointly with our partners, would also support the U.S. in operations whenever needed. We hope for a positive response from President Trump to protect lives. I also thank everyone who has expressed condolences to Ukraine today, everyone who has not remained silent and condemned Russian terror.
Prior to Zelensky’s public appeal video to Trump, the President spontaneously posted about U.S. spending on NATO being far beyond European nations’ spending:
The United States spends more money on NATO than any other country, by far, to protect them, without getting any benefit from so doing: U.S. 999 Billion Dollars, United Kingdom, 90.5 Billion Dollars, France, 66.5 Billion Dollars, Italy, 48.8 Billion Dollars, Poland, 44.3 Billion Dollars. Others, including Germany, are MUCH LOWER. (2014-2025) Ridiculous! President DJT

Following a year of failed Trump-backed peace talks, Ukrainian officials now request more weapon systems from Washington.
“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine and the United States held negotiations over the past two days as Kyiv continues to push for faster support amid the ongoing war with Russia,” APT reported Thursday. “Speaking in Kyiv, Zelensky said senior Ukrainian defense official Rustem Umerov recently held talks with Jared Kushner. He also urged President Donald Trump and his team to accelerate decisions on military assistance, warning that delays in aid packages cost lives.”
Alex Jones spoke with Russian politician Victor Bout on Tuesday. The two discussed Ukraine’s turn toward organized crime, links to attempted assassinations, and the potential that Ukraine intimidated Trump into slow-rolling an end to the war.

Russia has to learn what real psychopathy looks like.
Sad that they missed your ass Zelensky.
Maybe next time the American people will get their wish and see you go.
This Ukraine/Russia War is totally FAKE and STAGED.
If it were “real”, Russia would have dropped a MOAB on Kiev a long time ago, and justifiably so.
The fact that nothing even close to that has happened is all the proof one needs to analyze to understand that the war is all theater, sucking US taxpayers dry.
Stop f-cking around Vlad and just end that little f@ggot -> Zelensky.
Tell Zelenskyy that he gets nothing else from us, so he better sue for peace with Russia or they’ll completely conquer them.
Pretty weak for a counter offensive, it’s hard to take this war seriously anymore…except having to finance this scam. Trump should have cut him off in week one, like he told his voters he was going to do.
Stop escalating the war zelensky you war monger moron
