2. Alex still seems one foot in the door with President Trump and I get it man, he works for Bigly which is probably a company that grew up around Trump merch over the last 10yrs.

   I saw that trend in business and I could’ve built a business around the 10yrs of Trump but I didn’t want to and didn’t have capital to throw around.
   All my extra money went into hardening my self sufficiency and boy was that the only move.

   My elderly mothers property taxes just increased 33% !! She is living in rural Tennessee on a fixed income and I have no idea what to do. I can’t afford a lawyer if that would even help. I paid her back taxes twice a 3k $ per pop. That is not sustainable, we will have to try and find a way to sell without a lawyer and move her in with us.

   Hard times doesn’t even begin to describe it. We aren’t alone. Everyone that comes in the gas station where my wife works is paying in change, shuffling cards, putting items back. The store itself is suffering because the state just banned their biggest selling items! Kratom and vapes. That is a further attack on the middle class. We know it has nothing to do with altruism or health concerns.

   If our situation, having a home on the North side of town paid off and a Farm further north paid off and two adults working full time and farming and one senior drawing govt assistance and we still are literally counting the days till someone gets paid and choosing between two new front tires or the cable bill. The money just doesn’t stretch.

   People are going to start losing what little they have left and people w less impulse control than myself are going to start losing it and I fully understand. We are at a breaking point. As a nation and our family personally. Our family has owned property here in this exact spot since the 1700s.

   The reason life is this hard? For everyone?
