An unborn child died following a shooting at a gas station in Texas last week that led to the arrests of two illegal aliens, at least one of whom was unleashed into the U.S. by the Biden regime, according to reports.
The shocking incident unfolded at around 12:40 a.m. on May 3 in Dallas.
Police responded to shots fired in the Pleasant Grove neighborhood where they found three victims, one of whom had been struck several times, Fox 4 reports.
They told officers that their vehicle had been shot at by suspects in another car following an altercation at a 7-Eleven.
Officers located the suspect vehicle and an ensuing pursuit ended when the driver lost control and crashed.
During a search of the car, officers found illegal firearms, cocaine, and MDMA inside.
Keyner Ariel Calero-Jiron, 20, and Yeremy Zapata Aleman, 17, were taken into custody.
One of the victims, a pregnant 17-year-old girl, was rushed to hospital where her baby died following an emergency C-section.
“It was a blessing for us — and they took it away from us,” the girl’s grandmother told Fox 4. “They’re going to live with that for the rest of their life. They destroyed their own life because they’re young.”
“I don’t care what they do to them. If they give them the death penalty, it’s not going to bring the baby back. It doesn’t matter what — my baby’s not going to come back.”
Calero-Jiron was hit with nine charges: capital murder, five felony aggravated assault charges, evading arrest, possession of cocaine, and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
Zapata Aleman faces seven charges: capital murder, five felony aggravated assault charges, and possession of cocaine.
Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged detainers against both suspects, who are in the U.S. illegally.
Calero-Jiron entered the country in 2022 as an ‘unaccompanied minor’ from Nicaragua and was released by the Biden regime, the Department of Homeland Security revealed in a press release on Thursday.
Zapata Aleman is reportedly a citizen of Honduras, but the circumstances under which he entered the U.S. have not been made public.
“These monsters shot multiple people and killed an unborn baby,” said DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “They now face multiple felony charges, including homicide and aggravated assault. This is an unspeakable crime, and these criminal illegal aliens should never have been in our country in the first place.
“ICE asked officials in Dallas to not release these MURDERERS back onto the streets. Thankfully, Dallas cooperates with ICE, so together with our partners we will ensure these criminals can never again terrorize our communities.”
