A restaurateur who has purchased over 80 Pizza Hut locations is attracting customers by bringing back the things that made the chain great several decades ago, providing a nostalgic dining experience Americans have been craving in recent years.
From the iconic red roof to vinyl booths, the salad bar and red cups, Bradley Blackburn’s Pizza Hut locations are some of the busiest in the nation.
CBS News spoke with Blackburn and customers about the throwback experience.
Some locations even have Pac-Man arcade games, with the owner saying he strives for families to “put down their phones” and enjoy each others’ company again.
“I’m not going to tell you I know how to fix the world, but I do think family is a good place to start,” he said.
Blackburn hopes to restore additional Pizza Hut locations to their heyday excellence.
The business decision should inspire others to provide Americans with old school vibes amid an era of high-tech, anti-social environments.

Brings back fond memories.
Amerikans crave and consume toxic garbage food.
That’s explains why the have become so brain dead and useless.
The trends to re-market the glory days (after canceling them to promote the new decade of freshly trademarked slop to make prices remain high) usually leave out fixing the part where the main profit increase is usually reduction in quality to cut costs. Their breadsticks pretty much sold this place over the rest; but those taste like generic store bought ones since I went last a decade or 2 ago. You can’t stop the trends tho cause only rich ancient rulers bloodline are rich enough to own all the media/governments/organizations across the map.
As they said in the old Hut days; A fool an his money are soon parted by bling bling. You could get close to a real restaurant for the prices this fast food joint charges. Dementia an nostalgia combined make for a perfect consumer.
We loved old school Pizza Hut, but did yall have Mazzios??? Was it a national or regional chain, or just some dude names Mazzios???? That was the place, like super upgraded pizza hut, were talking football / baseball team parties, with awesome pizza / food, full arcade and a pool table, the adults loved it, because they sold beer. This was early mid 80’s
Im proud of that dude cranking up the oldies.
Ok Midwest, 1 store in Georgia, Winder, shidddd, in the 80’s was in Lilburn, rest of stores midwest, region
Awesome. Minimalism needs to die off.
Hi retard.
“Yum Brands, the parent company of Pizza Hut, has actively invested in Israeli startups, reflecting a strategic interest in Israel’s innovative business landscape. This move aligns with a broader trend of multinational corporations seeking integration of Israeli technologies into their global portfolios.”
Looks like he’s going for the 80s retro feel, rather than 70s or earlier.
Buddy needsto find some old Wendys and bring back the Taco, potatoe, salad bar to
pizza hut, back in the day was the best. I still think its pretty good for mega corporate types of places. The one by me closed though, from to many robberies
