The “clock is ticking” for Iran to secure a peace deal, President Trump warned on Sunday.
In a post on Truth Social, the President warned Iran to get moving unless it wants hostilities to resume.
“They better get moving, FAST, or there won’t be anything left of them,” he wrote.
“TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!”
The President also spoke with Israeli Primer Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Times of Israel reported.
According to Iranian media, President Trump refused to make “concrete” concessions to the latest proposal from Tehran to end the war.
This could lead to an “impasse in the negotiations,” Iran’s Mehr news agency reported.
Iran’s proposals were labelled “totally unacceptable” by President Trump.
BBC News reports, “According to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency, they included an immediate end to the war on all fronts – a reference to the continued Israeli attacks against Iran-supported Hezbollah in Lebanon – a halt to the US naval blockade of Iranian ports, and guarantees of no further attacks on Iran.
“They also reportedly included a demand for compensation for war damage and an emphasis on Iranian sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.
“Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency said on Sunday that Washington had set five conditions in response to Tehran’s proposal.
“They reportedly included a demand that Iran keep only one nuclear site in operation and transfer its stockpile of highly enriched uranium to the US.”
On Friday, President Trump said the Iranian proposal did not go far enough in its nuclear guarantees.
“If they have any nuclear of any form, I don’t read the rest of it,” Trump told reporters.
He said he would be willing to accept a 20-year moratorium on nuclear weapons.
He also said US or Chinese forces could enter Iran to retrieve its “nuclear dust”—enriched uranium that could be further refined to produce weapons-grade material.
Speaking to reporters, President Trump said, “At the right time, we‘ll either go in, or we’ll get it. I think we‘ll probably get it, but if we don’t get it, we’ll go in.”
A top Iranian official had said the US and “possibly China” could retrieve the material, the President continued.
In response to a question about whether the presence of US forces on Iranian soil could trigger a war, President Trump replied, “I think they’ll be totally defeated. And we won’t have any risk. We have the equipment to take it out; nobody else does. China might have the equipment.”
The President added that Iran doesn’t “have the technology” to remove the nuclear material. In a recent interview with Sean Hannity, Trump said Iran can’t reach the material because a “mountain collapsed on it.”
Iran’s nuclear facilities at Natanz, Fordau and Isfahan were struck first in the summer of 2025, as part of Operation Midnight Hammer, and again during the present hostilities, which began at the end of February.

Trump is no longer rational enough to be taken seriously. He acts as the chief Israeli lobbyist in the USA.
If a mountain collapsed on the nuclear material, it is inaccessible, so leave it alone. What Trump (Israel) really wants is to seize control of Iran. They want a nationwide search of all Iranian military facilities, and to disable Iran’s military.
But, that material is not in any known location. Trump makes things up.
No, the clock is ticking for captain bone spurs. Trump is a complete retard, and it was not worth the time it took to vote for him.
Disappointed is an understatement!
The clock is only ticking for you. Prior to your illegal war, the Strait of Hormuz was open. Iran hold all the cards. And China working through Hong Kong to ship goods and military equipment to Iran. Iran doesn’t trust you and you know why.
The clock is ticking for Trump. Massie wins tomorrow, Graham loses next month, and the GOP loses in November. Trump’s betrayal is gargantuan.
Clean it up, jannies. Clean it up
