The Department of Justice announced criminal charges on Thursday against 15 Minnesota defendants, claiming they participated in fraud schemes to illegally rake in $90 million intended for state Medicaid funds.

Seven Minnesota Medicaid programs were “systematically pilfered by fraudsters” who treated taxpayer-funded services as “their personal piggy bank,” according to prosecutors.

The DOJ’s National Fraud Enforcement Division noted recent actions are just the beginning, saying, “The fraud here in Minnesota is shocking.”

During an operation on Thursday, one Minnesota fraud target leaped out of a four-story building and evaded arrest.

Footage shows the suspect limping away after jumping from the balcony.

FBI Co-Deputy Director Christopher Raia said in a press conference, “He is currently on the run. If you recognize this individual, if you know this individual, if you can provide any information related to this individual, I would encourage you to call the FBI.”

Also on Thursday, Aimee Bock was sentenced to more than 40 years in prison for leading a $250 million scam that stole money from COVID funds meant to be spent on meals for children.

Speaking from jail in January, Bock claimed Democrat Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Democrat Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison should be investigated and held accountable for rampant fraud in the state.

Asked if she requested Minnesota Democrats “block the subpoena” for an investigation into Bock’s “Feeding Our Future” fraud scheme, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) ignored a Fox News Digital reporter.

The Democrat congresswoman eventually broke her silence and said, “Any claim that I had knowledge of this scheme is flat-out false.”
