President Donald Trump blasted communism on Truth Social Wednesday, slamming the failed political ideology for leaving “death and destruction” in its wake wherever the notion is put into practice.
Slamming the top-down authoritarian political system implemented by the former Soviet Union and the current Chinese government ostensibly championing the rights of workers and the proletariat, Trump wrote, “Communists always do well with the Voters or, as they would say, THE PEOPLE, in the Early Years!”
“But, in the end, the Country, State, or City, GOES TO HELL!” he continued. “Great Violence proceeds at levels never seen before, and the entity dissolves into Poverty, Squalor, and Crime.
“Remember, breathtaking ‘Popularity’ first, and then, guaranteed DEATH AND DESTRUCTION!” he added.
In another post, the president followed up, “Has anyone ever seen a Happy Communist?”
While it’s unclear what prompted the president’s latest anti-communist remarks, his posts came just one day after Los Angeles’ heated mayoral primary, where Republican candidate Spencer Pratt appears poised for a November runoff against incumbent Democrat LA Mayor Karen Bass, a documented communist apparatchik.
Pratt highlighted his opponent’s peculiar fascination with the Castro regime and her trip to Cuba with a communist brigade in the run-up to Tuesday’s race.
