Thousands of Albanians clashed with police this week during protests against an island tourist resort planned by a company linked to President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka Trump.
The $1.4bn island of Sazan was formerly a communist-era military base with 3,500 nuclear bunkers, unexploded weapons, bomb shelters and miles of tunnels, according to The Independent.
Ivanka recently described how she and her husband came upon the 1,400 acre ex-military base, saying they were on a friend’s boat when they “stopped for a swim” and “swam to the island.”
“We went on a hike, barefoot all the way up to the top, and we were just captivated,” she explained.
Journalist Glenn Greenwald commented on Ivanka’s podcast remarks, writing, “The most darkly funny aspect of this video is that Ivanka Trump speaks as if she went on some profound, prolonged spiritual and philosophical journey to ascertain the meaning of life, and concluded that the most elevated human state is to live on a gigantic private island in the Mediterranean, in a sprawling mansion paid for with the billions of dollars given to her husband by the Saudis and Emiratis to ensure favorable treatment by him and by her dad in their exercise of the powers of the American Presidency. Real uplifting stuff.”
AP reports, “Albania has 450 kilometers (280 miles) of coast that remained largely underdeveloped during decades of harsh communist rule. Protest groups fear the sections of that pristine coastline could be snapped up by powerful investors. And public anger grew after video showed an activist being dragged by a private security guard while demonstrating at the site. The development is planned within a nature reserve and one of Albania’s most valuable biodiversity areas, a key stopover for migratory birds along the Adriatic coast.”
Some people are calling the planned resort “Epstein Island 2.0,” and it turns out that heir to the globalist Rothschild family, Nat Rothschild, was the friend Kushner and Ivanka were vacationing with when they “found” the island.
Kushner revealed in a recent podcast that he privately met with Albania’s Socialist Prime Minister Edi Rama aboard Rothschild’s boat in 2021, leading him to later discover the island for the project.
President Rama supports the project, saying, “Albania should not be a country that fears an extraordinary project like this one, where exceptional partners have come together to invest 4 billion euros ($4.6 billion). There is no chance for this investment to stop as long as I am here.”
However, the Albanian anti-corruption agency launched an investigation into the proposal on Monday and froze the bank accounts of the landholding company backing the build on Tuesday.
The situation is developing, so time will tell whether the protesters are able to fend off the billionaire westerners from encroaching on the Albanian coast.

A “tourist resort”…right. It sounds more like they want a turn key nuclear bunker ready bug out retreat with a nice picturesque coastline view and favorable year round weather. Chump’s incompetence handling the Ukraine, Russia, Israel, and Iran conflicts must be a lot worse than what the public knows if his own daughter is wanting to retreat to an island with pre-installed nuclear bunkers.
Miles of tunnels. Sounds like the perfect island if someone wanted to, ya know…
