Gunshots erupted at a community festival in Toledo, Ohio, leaving at least 12 people injured on Saturday evening, according to reports.

Toledo police responded to a mass shooting at the Old West End Festival in the city’s historic district just after 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Officers quickly located several victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Witness footage shows bystanders running for cover as shots ring out.

Authorities believe multiple suspects may have opened fire on each other, but no one has been arrested as of Saturday night.

A dozen people ranging in age from 14 to 61 were hospitalized with various injuries, two of whom were listed in critical condition.

Families and local residents have been attending the Old West End Festival for 53 years.

“The Old West End neighborhood is one of the largest collections of Victorian, Edwardian, and Arts and Crafts homes in the United States and serves as a showcase of architectural styles popular with Americans around the turn of the century,” the festival’s website states.

  1. What they usually do when they gather for some merriment. Whenever they have a festival they very much enjoy drawing their stolen firearms and having a gun battle. A very common occurrence on the weekend as they celebrate their financial rewards of the robberies and burglaries they committed during the week.
