Two women are facing federal charges for allegedly helping illegal aliens escape from a Utah courthouse while working as clerks there.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) just announced indictments against Jennifer Joma, 27, and Lauren Kelsey Morrow, 26, who are both in custody.
According to court documents, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer arrived at the Logan City Municipal Justice Court with an administrative warrant for an illegal alien who was scheduled to appear in court on April 9, 2026.
While the officer was waiting in his car for the target to exit the courthouse, Joma and Morrow began “misusing court databases” to identify non-citizens listed in the court docket in an attempt to locate the illegal alien in question, the DOJ says.
They then intercepted that illegal alien, escorted them through the facility, and helped them sneak out a back door before gleefully flipping the bird at a security camera, investigators say.
A short time later, Joma allegedly drove away from the courthouse with three aliens in her vehicle before returning alone and going back to work.
Joma and Morrow have both been charged with conspiracy to transport and harbor illegal aliens, harboring illegal aliens, and obstruction of proceedings before departments and agencies.
Joma has also been charged with transporting illegal aliens.
They were scheduled to make their initial appearances on June 11 in Orrin G. Hatch United States District Courthouse in downtown Salt Lake City.

AND YOU TRUST ANY PRIVATE OR GOVERNMENT DATABASE.
Why what could go wrong?
Those offenses warrant prison time.
