U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) located a foreign juvenile among a group of adult illegal aliens hiding in a hotel room in South Texas.
On Friday, USBP Chief Rosario Vasquez published information and a photograph from a recent human smuggling bust in McAllen, a border city in the Rio Grande Valley.
Agents found seven illegals from Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala “confined” in a room at a local hotel, including an unaccompanied minor.
They were taken into custody and will be processed according to U.S. immigration law.
“Our agents are actively patrolling and dismantling criminal networks,” Chief Vasquez stated.
“If you cross illegally, you will be arrested, prosecuted, and deported.”
Despite the Trump administration’s historic crackdown on illegal border crossings, USBP continues to disrupt stash houses and similar smuggling operations on the southern frontier, particularly in the Laredo area.
Agents arrested three U.S. citizens and seven illegals at a Laredo home earlier this week.
They also found 15 illegals from three countries inside a separate residence and five more at another stash house in Laredo in recent days.
