“There is a real prospect to put an end to this war, and America’s resolve is decisive,” Zelenskyy wrote in an X post on Saturday.
“We have agreed to continue these discussions during the NATO Summit in [Ankara, Turkey].”
Last week, Russia launched one of its largest air assaults of the entire war against Ukraine.
Over 2,000 drones were as well as missiles were launched against the capital, Kyiv, and other targets across the country.
Ukraine has also stepped up its “influence operation” to bring Putin to the negotiating table, targeting key infrastructure in Russia including oil and gas facilities.
On Saturday, Ukraine hit targets around Russia’s second city, St Petersburg.
