The United States has not bombed a nuclear power reactor, though a U.S. projectile did land near the perimeter of Iran’s active Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant. Authorities confirmed the reactor itself was not directly struck, and there was no damage to critical infrastructure or radioactive leaks. The Bushehr facility is Iran’s only operating nuclear power plant and was (and still is) actively generating electricity.
