Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) called a LindellTV journalist “stupid” Tuesday, slamming the female reporter for asking about a recent multimillion dollar financial disclosure revision.

“I think you’re STUPID for asking me ANYTHING,” Omar said to reporter Alison Steinberg, who confronted the congresswoman on the discrepancy.

“What about the American people who are wondering how you made such a big mistake?” Steinberg asked.

“I’ve explained to the American people. I have given them information,” Omar replied.

“What’s the explanation? Do you want to tell our viewers?” Steinberg asked, as Omar fired back, “I don’t have to tell you JACK SHlT!”

The congresswoman’s defensive posture comes as she recently revised a financial disclosure form from $30 million to $100K, as a congressional inquiry into her finances looms.

CBS News reports: “The amended disclosure was first reported by the Wall Street Journal. Omar’s original financial disclosure form stated that companies co-owned by her husband, Tim Mynett, were worth between $6 million and $30 million.”

Her revised financial statement now says her and her husband’s joint assets are valued at anywhere from $18,004 to $95,000.

An Omar representative told the Minnesota Star Tribune that an “accounting error created a misleading picture of far greater wealth,” and insisted “the congresswoman is not a millionaire.”
