On Saturday, President Trump posted on Truth Social that he scrapped a high-level peace envoy trip to Pakistan, where American officials were set to meet Iranian representatives for negotiations.
Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the President’s son-in-law, had been preparing to fly to Islamabad, but Trump pulled the plug on the gathering just before departure.
“I just cancelled the trip of my representatives going is Islamabad, Pakistan, to meet with the Iranians,” he wrote. “Too much time wasted on traveling, too much work! Besides which, there is tremendous infighting and confusion within their ‘leadership.’ Nobody knows who is in charge, including them. Also, we have all the cards, they have none! If they want to talk, all they have to do is call!!!”

According to Axios, President Trump said, “I don’t see the point in sending them on an 18-hour flight in the current [state of the negotiations]. It’s too long. We can just as well do it over the phone. The Iranians can call us if they want. We’re not going to travel just to sit there. We have all the cards. We are not going to go there to sit around talking about nothing.”
When the reporter asked whether the last-minute cancellation indicated he might resume the war, President Trump said, “No. That doesn’t mean that. We haven’t thought about it yet.”
Speaking with Fox News, Trump said, “I’ve told my people a little while ago they were getting ready to leave, and I said, ‘Nope, you’re not making an 18-hour flight to go there. We have all the cards. They can call us anytime they want, but you’re not going to be making any more 18-hour flights to sit around talking about nothing.’”
Ahead of Trump’s announcement, it was reported that, “Iran’s Foreign Secretary Abbas Aragchi is already in Islamabad, but a foreign ministry spokesperson said Iranian officials will not meet with US representatives. Instead, discussions will be mediated through Pakistani officials.”
The cancellation comes as President Trump has extended the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, which was initially set to last just two weeks.
The Trump administration now appears to be waiting for Iranian factions to sort out who will ultimately be in charge.

This is the best thorough information covered and am glad to check out this page. There was a WHvideo that came across my x[dot]com thread. The video was blank into 25 minutes?
