House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) revealed on Breitbart News Daily Friday that Republicans are investigating potential foreign donations to the Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue.

Jordan made the announcement one day after President Donald Trump accused ActBlue and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) of fraud, stating that if those allegations prove true, the 2020 presidential election “should be permanently wiped from the books and be of no further force or effect.”

On Tuesday, the Department of Justice filed fraud charges against the SPLC, alleging it improperly raised millions and covertly directed the funds to associates of the Ku Klux Klan and other extremist organizations.

Lawmakers are now scrutinizing yet another pillar of the left’s political apparatus.

Rep. Jim Jordan explained that House Republicans are probing ActBlue over suspected attempts to conceal the true origins of repeated donations that have funneled billions into Democratic coffers each election.

Jordan pointed out that after the 2024 election, ActBlue’s senior legal team responsible for fraud prevention resigned. The general counsel was fired with a substantial severance package.

A prior congressional letter to the CEO, and a subsequent New York Times report, revealed that ActBlue’s lawyers at Covington admitted her response to Congress may have contained misrepresentations.

“You were lying to Congress,” Jordan stated bluntly. “We put out an interim report yesterday that highlights all the things going on there that sure make it look like they were taking foreign contributions—which, as you know, is against the law.”

A reckoning for ActBlue over its alleged illegal activities, coming right after the SPLC’s major setback, would amount to a substantial blow against the Democrat power apparatus.
