On Sunday morning, Alex Jones streamed live coverage of the prior night’s attempted assassination of President Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, addressing widespread claims that the shooting was pre-planned or fake.
According to reports, 31-year-old Cole Thomas Allen from California built a “long weapon” in a room near the ballroom, then opened fire — striking a Secret Service agent before being shot in return.
Jones highlighted the many oddities raising red flags online, then laid out his analysis and stated he does not believe the event was staged.
In a second video post, Jones wrote, “I do not think the shooting last night at the Whitehouse Correspondents Dinner was staged,” pointing out the suspect is a registered Democrat with Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Journalist Laura Loomer blasted Jones for titling his video, “Was the Trump Whitehouse Correspondents Dinner Shooting Staged?”
“This is truly a despicable thing for Alex to say about the Trump administration,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, 𝕏 users flooded the comments reminding everyone that Jones firmly stated he does not believe the shooting was staged.
