The Hantavirus is not contagious. if you have rats running around your house, then you might have problem.

Even though the obscure hantavirus is neither new nor transmissible enough to pose a pandemic risk, it literally “went viral” recently when it happened to kill a few rich people on a cruise ship who likely consumed infected rat feces.
The virus itself remained confined to a handful of people, but the fever of conspiracy theories about a “NEW COVID” spread around the world instantly, and Alex Jones, not one to lie still, jumped on that wagon at first sight and laid it on thick along with everyone else.
No one is talking about “masking”, but having proved the second most effective rage trigger of the pandemic era after vaccines, misinformation about masking became standard anger bait for MAGA influencers clawing for engagement that they’ve been eager to revive ever since.
How much do you wanna bet that all those MAGA grifters who invested heavily in ivermectin and lost their ass will suddenly “discover” after all this publicity that it happens to protect against hantavirus too in hopes of recovering their losses ?
