Dozens of Illegals Bail Out of Fake Construction Truck During “Dramatic Pursuit” at California Border

Federal authorities say they arrested more than 20 illegal aliens during a “wild border chase” in Southern California.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) just published photographs from the significant bust, which unfolded on April 30 near Winterhaven, a town in Imperial County on the Arizona state line.

U.S. Border Patrol agents observed a vehicle disguised as a construction truck “driving erratically” near the Andrade Port of Entry and attempted to pull it over.

The driver took evasive action and sped off-road towards the Colorado River.

“Dozens of passengers bailed out” and ran for the border river in an attempt to escape back into Mexico.

A Yuma Branch aircrew aboard a CBP Air and Marine Operations chopper tracked the group as they fled through dense vegetation and guided officers to their location.

In total, 22 illegal aliens were apprehended before they could reach the water.

It is unclear who was driving the vehicle and whether any subjects managed to escape.

The Trump administration continues to maintain a historically secure southern border, although illegal crossings are on the rise in some sectors.
