The deputy of leader of ISIS has been killed in a combined operation between US and Nigerian forces.
In a post on Truth Social, President Trump hailed the killing of Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, who was apparently hiding in Nigeria.
“Tonight, at my direction, brave American forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and very complex mission to eliminate the most active terrorist in the world from the battlefield,” he wrote.
Intelligence was passed to the US military about al-Minuki’s whereabouts, and then the Nigerian government helped the US plan the mission.
“He will no longer terrorize the people of Africa, or help plan operations to target Americans. With his removal, ISIS’s global operation is greatly diminished,” the President said.
In November 2025, President Trump said Nigerian Christians were facing an “existential threat” from radical Islam.
Weeks later, with the support of the Nigerian government, President Trump directed strikes against ISIS targets in northwest Nigeria.
President Trump said ISIS had been killing Nigerian Christians “at levels not seen for many years, and even Centuries.”
“I have previously warned these Terrorists that if they did not stop the slaughtering of Christians, there would be hell to pay, and tonight, there was,” Trump wrote after the strikes.
Around 100 US troops have been in Nigeria since February, helping to train the nation’s armed forces.
Although Nigeria has accepted help from the US to prevent the killing of Christians in the country, the government has rejected the claim Christians are uniquely persecuted, countering that groups like ISIS and Boko Haram target people of all faiths.
The State Department has designed Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern under the International Religious Freedom Act, and is restricting visas for individuals linked to the “mass killing and violence against Christians.”

This is nice and dandy.
So when is trump going to kick ass for Americans?
That’s right, he basicly said the hell with taxpayers.
He better do something, because the playbook says: come midterm, quack quack, lame duck.
They all should be working on next years budget to avoid the traditional shutdowns.
Same play as always.
Republicans always piss away opportunities, it is the custom to do so.
How’s THE STANDARD ,THE QUALITY OF LIVING GONG FOR YOU?
A great bunce, the manna from heaven falling from the godsend?
Lol
Looking forward to hearing the retards who seethe here at Trump to blame their failures at life on Trump yet again LOL
Trump keeps kicking ass around the world yet Alex and the rest have nothing but condemnation for him.
