Israel’s national security minister Ben-Gvir received criticism following the video of him taunting non-combatant detainees who were part of a Gaza aid flotilla.
Detainees were forced to go on their knees and face on the floor while Gvir can be seen smiling and taunting.
Despite being very pro-Israel, U.S. ambassador Mike Huckabee condemned Gvir’s behavior, becoming the first official from the Trump administration to join global criticism of Gvir.
In a social media post Wednesday Huckabee called Gvir’s actions “despicable.”
Universal outrage & condemnation from every high-ranking Israeli official from @IsraeliPM @IsraelMFA @gidonsaar @IsraelPresident @yechielleiter @IsraelinUSA for despicable actions by Ben Gvir. Flotilla was stupid stunt, but Ben Gvir betrayed dignity of his nation.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also said Gvir’s actions were not acceptable, while calling the aid flotilla detainees “terrorist supporters” :
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
“Israel has every right to prevent provocative flotillas of Hamas terrorist supporters from entering our territorial waters and reaching Gaza. However, the way that Minister Ben Gvir dealt with the flotilla activists is not in line with Israel’s values and norms.
I have instructed the relevant authorities to deport the provocateurs as soon as possible.”

It’s only not a good look for Israel cuz the word expects better from western nations. Try going to Iran with pro Israel protestors lol. Everyone even the Israel haters know that Israel is a western country!!
“Betrayed” the dignity of his nation? What a catastrophic misspeak… “Portrayed” is the correct word, Huckabee.
Another greta situation .
Same damn thing.
Now suppose those radical mooslum a-rabs held for ransom those people, then what, complicate the matter even worse?
So happy those illegal criminals were caught.
These NGOs seem to go out of their way to stir up trouble.
America does not need another hostage situation like in the past when dealing with mooslums.
