The Department of War on Friday released a second tranche of UFO files, including additional footage of unidentified aerial phenomenon.

The latest files, available at war.gov/UFO, feature various government documents pertaining to reports of inexplicable airborne objects and videos captured by the US military appearing to depict strange “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena” exhibiting unusual flight patterns.

“The Department of War is in lockstep with President Trump to bring unprecedented transparency regarding our government’s understanding of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena,” read a statement by War Dept. Secretary Pete Hegseth. “These files, hidden behind classifications, have long fueled justified speculation — and it’s time the American people see it for themselves. This release of declassified documents demonstrates the Trump Administration’s earnest commitment to unprecedented transparency.”

One document detailed a 1949 investigation into a green fireball witnessed in Socorro, New Mexico, in which researchers collected airborne particles and conducted tests attempting to determine the chemical composition of the aerial phenomenon.

The files also included video of a UAP in Syria demonstrating extremely fast acceleration, and footage of an F-16 fighter jet firing on and destroying a balloon-like object.

Other videos shot by military platform infrared sensors tracked objects floating above the ocean at high rates of speed.

The jury is still out on the exact nature of the unidentified objects.
