Mike Lindell Leading GOP Candidate In Minnesota Governor’s Race, Poll Shows

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is favorited to represent Republicans this November in the Minnesota governor’s race, according to recent polling.

In a May 2026 poll posted to X by Lindell on Friday, a plurality of Republican likely voters said they’d vote for him over opponent Speaker of the Minnesota House Lisa Demuth and other Republican candidates “if the race were held today.”

The likelihood that voters would pick Lindell increased by double digits after they were asked whether an endorsement of him by President Donald Trump would influence their decision.

The poll also shows many voters are still undecided.

“New polling shows Mike Lindell leading the Republican field just days before the MN GOP Convention and with a President Trump endorsement, his lead grows to a commanding 22 points,” Lindell declared on X.

Next week’s Minnesota GOP state convention could increase Lindell’s odds if the Party decides to endorse him, and support from President Trump would further boost his chances. The Republican nominee will ultimately be decided in the August 11 primary.

Meanwhile, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D) is heavily favored to win her party’s nomination, as she seeks to succeed Gov. Tim Walz (D) after he dropped out of the race in January.

The general election will be held on Nov. 3, with Democrats having controlled the governor’s office for the past 15 years.
