Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who received President Donald Trump’s endorsement, handily defeated longtime Sen. John Cornyn in Tuesday’s GOP primary, in another major demonstration of the electoral power of the MAGA coalition.

Vote totals showed Paxton with a commanding lead of 63.1% to 36.9% over Sen. Cornyn, who’s held his seat since 2002, with nearly 60% of votes counted, as media outlets declared the Texas AG the projected winner.
The win was immediately celebrated by President Trump, who tore into the Cornyn on Truth Social as the election approached, writing, “Ken’s opponent was VERY disloyal to me, as President, and didn’t fight hard enough for the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT – VOTER I.D., PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS (with exceptions for Military, Illness, Disability, or Travel!).”
Tuesday’s win means Paxton will represent the GOP in November’s face-off against Democrat nominee James Talarico.

It is a great development. Paxton was a sure winner without Trump’s support.

Of note: the “polls” had this a close race. Another example of poll propaganda designed to aid and abet Cornyn. As well, predictably little Billly Hemmer of Farce News was bashing Ken this evening in an attempt to shift votes to Cornyn two hours prior to the close of voting. E.g. Billly had to throw in Ken is involved in a “nasty divorce.” Really? That’s purely subjective, opinionated, irrelevant and inappropriate for him to say under the circumstances. When he made that slander, I about climbed through the t v. set and strangled that little prick, figuratively speaking of course. And predictably Brett Bore didn’t do Ken any favors either. I guess Billy was hoping to have a long night at his station doing his schtick. Apparently so, he looked like he lost his best friend when the race was called at the beginning of his program.
