What? DOJ Drops Case Against Israeli Man Linked To Las Vegas Biolab That Contained HIV & Dengue Fever

Federal prosecutors have dropped their case against Israeli citizen Ori Solomon after he was arrested in connection with a biolab uncovered at a Las Vegas property earlier this year.

Breaking Points host Saagar Enjeti commented on the news Tuesday, writing, “Strange news out of Las Vegas: The Israeli property manager linked to an illegal Las Vegas biolab (which contained HIV and dengue fever) just had federal charges dismissed against him.”

According to a local news report, Solomon was “the property manager” of a building where hundreds of vials and jugs of biological materials were confiscated.

The Israeli citizen, who was in the U.S. on a non-citizen visa, allegedly works for a Chinese national who owns the property that was raided.

Furthermore, the Chinese property owner is currently serving a prison sentence for operating another illegal biolab out of California!

The California and Las Vegas labs reportedly contained similar materials.

Solomon, who manages over 30 other properties, had his charge for illegal possession of a firearm dropped earlier this month despite the FBI alleging his immigration status precluded him from owning or possessing a gun.

Enjeti added, “I understand charges get dismissed if there’s no case but the criminal complaint makes this sound open and shut. Solomon is in the US on a visa and had multiple illegal firearms in addition to 2 foreign passports where his name was spelled differently.”

The story gets even more bizarre upon learning that the prosecutor overseeing the case against Solomon, the Acting U.S. Attorney for Nevada Sigal Chattah, is an Israeli-born U.S. citizen who once ominously told a reporter she “knows where a lot of the bodies are buried” politically.

A judge ruled last year that Chattah, the Acting U.S. Attorney for Nevada, is not legally supposed to be serving in that role.

The Trump administration appealed the judge’s ruling and Chattah has continued operating as Nevada’s top prosecutor.

The Ninth Circuit heard arguments in the ongoing case in February 2026, but no final ruling has resolved Chattah’s situation.

Journalist Glenn Greenwald noted the Solomon ordeal is similar to Israeli cyber official Tom Alexandrovich being let loose after he was arrested for trying to meet up with underage girls last year.

The suspected Israeli child predator was allowed to post bail, fly back to his home country and attend court virtually.

Chattah blamed a “liberal district attorney and state court judge” for failing to seize Alexandrovich’s passport and allowing him to leave the U.S., saying, “The individual who fled our country should have had his passport seized by the state authorities. He must be returned immediately to face justice.”

The State of Nevada’s case against Solomon for suspicion of disposing and discharging hazardous waste is ongoing, but no criminal complaint has been filed.
