Ukraine has continued its attacks on Russian oil infrastructure over the weekend, striking facilities deep inside Russia.
Drones caused a fire and damage at a depot in Taganrog and in Armavir.
“Another facility of Russia’s oil industry has been reached – Armavir,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on X, adding that Armavir is “500 kilometers from our state border.”
“We are rightfully bringing the war back to where it came from.”
Attacks on Russia’s oil-and-gas infrastructure have now become a key part of the Ukrainian war effort, four years into the conflict.
Ukrainian officials say Moscow’s oil revenue is directly financing the war, making it a fair target. The Ukrainians have also expressed a clear wish to prevent Russia benefiting from the Iran war and increased oil and gas prices.
Russia’s oil-refining is now at a 17-year-low of about 4.7 million barrels a day.
Moscow has lost about $7 billion in oil revenue since the start of the year.
Two weeks ago, a massive Ukrainian drone attack struck targets in all of Russia’s 14 regions, as well as areas of Ukraine annexed by Russia.
The area around Moscow was worst affected, with three people killed.
An oil-and-gas refinery near Moscow was targeted, and debris also hit the city’s Sheremetyevo airport.
Russia responded with hypersonic missiles directed against Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv.
Russian President Vladimir Putin recently signaled his belief that the war has entered its final stages.
As his military forces prepared for the annual Victory Day parade in Moscow to commemorate the end of World War II, Putin told reporters, “I think it’s coming to an end, but it’s still a serious matter.”
Russia still controls about 20% of Ukraine’s pre-2014 territory, including the Crimea and parts of the Donbas region.

Have to cut off/destroy the energy supply, The straight of Hormuz is off line cutting off 30pct of the worlds oil supply and 20 to 30 pct of the worlds LNG, got to bring down Russia’s refining capacity too
The Great Reset OP is proceeding nicely, without Trump all of this never would be happening.
