Footage out of Maryland shows the moment former U.S. Marine Jheyco Borda was working on his vehicle when four teenagers walked up to him demanding his car keys and cell phone.
Surveillance camera video captured the hoodlums approach Borda before one of them pointed a gun at his face.
The man’s military training kicked in and he quickly grabbed the firearm, struggling with the teen for a moment as Borda’s brother ran over to help.

During the fight for the handgun, a shot was fired that struck the victim’s vehicle.
When a second teen ran up trying to help his gun-wielding buddy, Borda’s brother grabbed him and slammed him to the ground.
The men were able to hold two of the criminals down until police arrived and officers tracked down the other two thieves, eventually arresting all four.
Borda spoke about the incident with Fox 5 Washington, D.C.
