The Obamas held a massive party for the grand opening of their $850 million presidential center in Chicago, Illinois, with several high-profile celebrities and former living presidents in attendance.
Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks, and George Lucas, as well as ex-Presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Joe Biden all gathered to celebrate.
However, one US commander-in-chief notably absent Thursday – President Donald Trump, who was not invited to the invitation-only, star-studded event, which featured performances by The Roots, Cristina Aguilera, Stevie Wonder, U2’s Bono, Eddie Vedder and Bruce Springsteen.
Former Obama senior adviser and Obama Foundation CEO Valerie Jarrett – of “Planet of the Apes” fame – confirmed the 45th and 47th president was not invited, telling NBC the event was an opportunity to thank and celebrate supporters, noting “We have said that if President Trump would like to come and take a tour, we’d love to show him this campus.”
Trump’s recent reference to Obama as a “stupid son of a bitch” likely decreased his chances of getting an invite.
A fighter’s declaration that “Michelle Obama is a man!” during last week’s UFC Freedom 250 event hosted on the White House lawn also likely did Trump no favors in the invitation department.
The presidential center, which some have called an eyesore reminiscent of a giant trash can, carried a hefty $850 million price tag, with some contractors who worked on the building complaining they were never paid.
Thursday’s event was a liberal wet dream, beginning with Jarrett acknowledging it was being held on “stolen land.”
Losing Democrat presidential Kamala Harris was also seen delivering some Elaine Benes-esque dance moves.
During her speech, Michelle Obama remarked that illegal alien dreamers “are America,” calling them “the beating heart of this country.”
“A ‘dreamer’ was just arrested for plotting a terrorist attack at the White House UFC fight,” noted popular X user Greg Price.
Taking the stage, Obama remarked that it’s important to have a “peaceful transfer of power after the people have spoken,” despite the fact that his administration spied on then-candidate Trump during the run-up to the 2016 presidential election, and that Democrats twice impeached him in efforts to remove him from office.
Obama also bashed the Founding Fathers while invoking America’s original sin of slavery, saying, “The founders fell terribly short of the [Declaration of Independence’s] promise, leaving slavery intact, allowing states to restrict the franchise to white men owned property,” but claimed the Constitution they drafted led to the creation of democracy.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Obama praised anti-ICE leftists from Minneapolis for obstructing President Trump’s mass deportation efforts, stopping short of outright naming Renee Good, or Alex Pretti.
For all the hoopla, a woman from Chicago was not impressed after visiting the Obama Center, trashing it for its exorbitant cost and a ridiculous-looking crooked arch at the building’s entrance.
Evidently, Obama is the first president since Calvin Coolidge, the 30th president, not to have an official presidential library, which would have been overseen by the National Archives and Records Administration, allowing him to stiff NARA for a library endowment cost and allowing him the flexibility to design the building’s architecture.

Of note, nobody in attendance wasn’t an unrepentant devil worshipper. Birds of the feather, surely do flock together.
