Podcast host Megyn Kelly called on Haitians whose TPS revocations were upheld by the Supreme Court to GTFO of the United States.
The former Fox News anchor made the declaration during her show Thursday, saying Haitians should return to their home country since they won’t assimilate in American culture.
“Go home, get out. We know our country’s better than yours. That’s because we filled it with our work ethic and our culture and our values. You being here only dilutes it for us, those who built it and live it,” Kelly remarked, adding, “And half of you people, more than half of you, won’t assimilate.”
“We don’t want you. We don’t care if you’re offended. Get out, go home. Go back to fucking Haiti, sorry,” she continued.
She went on to point out “this was supposed to be temporary help. And it’s turned into another backdoor way of allowing someone permanent residency here.”
Kelly’s unfiltered reaction came as the liberal media and Democrats responded to SCOTUS’ ruling by attempting to claim Haiti is unfit to live in and that sending back the Haitians would be akin to a death sentence.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called the Court’s ruling “cruel and inhumane,” claiming “Haiti and Syria remain unsafe today.”
Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) following the ruling claimed it placed Haitians’ lives in danger, and called for a path to permanent citizenship.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller blasted the notion Haitians should be allowed to stay in the US.
Miller pushed back against the media Thursday when asked whether the Trump admin considered Haiti a “safe” country.
“For Haitians, absolutely,” Miller responded. “Haitians live in Haiti. It’s not our position that Haitians should leave Haiti. “It would be CRAZY for us to say Haitians can’t live in Haiti. Of course they should live in Haiti.”
“The fact that there might be pockets of Haiti, where there’s higher crime rates – guess what? There’s pockets of Chicago with crime rates just as high.”
“It has NEVER been the case that having communities that have high crime rates is a basis for asylum. Never has been, never will be!”
Miller also affirmed the Trump admin’s intent to deport Haitians whose TPS has been revoked.
Border czar Tom Homan similarly echoed the administration’s intent to deport the Haitians, saying, “Temporary means temporary.”
Dems seem to have forgotten they once rallied behind Haiti as great nation when President Trump referred to it as a shithole.
