A massive explosion at Israel’s Tomer defense test site near the city of Beit Shemesh was filmed on Saturday night, and now the world is debating the cause of the blast.
The Tomer defense company is a government-owned entity, and the facility that was hit is where the solid-fuel rocket engines and boosters for Israel’s Arrow 2 and Arrow 3 missile interceptors are produced.
Podcast host and researcher Mario Nawfal responded to the Israeli government’s claim that the incident was a controlled explosion, saying that narrative “doesn’t hold up.”
“Controlled detonations require advance public notification. There was none. Emergency services were scrambled immediately to respond. You don’t scramble emergency services to something that was planned,” he said.
Nawfal added, “The most likely explanation: an accident during testing or production. But the timing is worth sitting with. Iran just escalated for the first time on its own terms, not in response to U.S. action, but initiating. A more emboldened Iran than the one that entered this ceasefire. An accident at Israel’s most critical missile defense facility is the probable answer. Sabotage, at exactly this moment, at exactly this target, cannot be fully ruled out.”
Alex Jones replied, agreeing with Nawfal’s take and writing, “This was an Iranian strike.”
Nawfal spoke with former Special Forces Officer Lt. Col. Anthony Aguilar about the explosion and speculation that Israel may be withholding the truth.
The pair hypothesized the blast could have been an Iranian strike, arguing Israel could be lying since a successful strike by Tehran “would raise serious questions about Israel’s preparedness and deterrence.”
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson also spoke with Nawfal about the prospect of the huge detonation being an Iranian attack.
On Sunday, a drone strike sparked a fire at a United Arab Emirates nuclear power plant, potentially disrupting ongoing peace talks between the U.S. and Iran as Tehran is the most likely culprit behind the attack.
Reuters reports, “The drone hit an electrical generator outside the inner perimeter of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said. Radiological safety levels were unaffected and there were no injuries, it said.”

Israel did this themselves and the UAE. Trying for a false flag at home and UAE to make sure the USA gets trapped as usual but no one is buying it even the UAE said it wasn’t Iran that hit their nuclear facility.
