President Trump has threatened to support a primary challenge against Congresswoman Lauren Boebert after she campaign for Trump nemesis Rep. Thomas Massie.

“Is anyone interested in running against Weak Minded Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District?” the President wrote on Truth Social, a few hours after Boebert made campaign appearances for Massie, who is facing a challenge from Trump-endorsed former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein.

“You remember Lauren moved to the District when it became obvious that she couldn’t win in her original Congressional District (The Third!) — A Carpetbagger, indeed! Boebert is campaigning for the Worst “Republican” Congressman in the History of our Country, Thomas Massie, of the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky, and anybody who can be that dumb deserves a good Primary fight!”

President Trump went on to say that, despite having endorsed Boebert, “if the right person came along, it would be my Honor to withdraw that Endorsement, and endorse a good and proper alternative. Just let me know, or announce your Candidacy, and I will be there for you!”

Congresswoman Boebert responded to the post on X, saying, “Yes, I saw the President’s post. No, I’m not mad or offended. I knew the risks when I agreed to stand by my friend Thomas Massie. I was, and will be, America First, America Always, and MAGA.”

President Trump has vowed to unseat Rep. Massie, who has repeatedly defied him on issues ranging from the Epstein files to the Iran war.

Massie, who has represented Kentucky’s 4th District since 2012, faced a primary challenge from Trump in 2020, and openly endorsed Ron DeSantis in the 2024 Republican primary, before the two were reconciled. Trump won Kentucky by a large margin in the 2024 election.

Since returning to office, however, tensions have resurfaced in a big way.

Trump has called Massie a “RINO,” “weak and pathetic,” a “bum,” “loser,” and “not MAGA.”

Massie has said the current primary is a “national referendum” on whether Republicans can dissent from Trump.
