Israeli interests are pushing to integrate with the US military in defense technology, intelligence sharing, tech innovation and other fields via US legislation, for a complete whole-of-government takeover that would essentially cede control of the US military over to Israel.
One prime example of the takeover includes Section 224 of the 2027 NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act), which creates the “United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative,” a provision establishing an alliance between the US and Israel on everything from research and development of weapons systems to AI and cybersecurity, despite Israel representing one of America’s largest espionage threats.
Former congressman Ron Paul slammed the proposed military merger, writing,
Should Section 224 remain in the NDAA, it would essentially remove future Congresses from any role in determining what level of support, cooperation, and oversight should be included in the US relationship with Israel. It would be worse even than President Obama’s 10 year guaranteed US financial support for Israel. Funding would not only be on autopilot, but the US would be further drawn into Israel’s multiple wars with its neighbors. Worse even than backing up Israel in its regional wars, the wars themselves would become ours.
Additionally, Section 622, introduced by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) – who has received over $1 million from Israeli lobbying group AIPAC – establishes a “US-Israel Intelligence Sharing Enhancement” mechanism that mandates expanded intelligence sharing with Israel, further entangling the US with Israel and making it harder for future administrations to separate from the foreign entity.
Analyst @GenXGirl1994 blasted the provision calling it “a legal straitjacket designed to make disentangling U.S. intelligence from Israel extraordinarily difficult, regardless of future U.S. strategic needs, budget realities, or changes in Israeli behavior.”
Israel & its lobby are attempting a complete takeover of our gov thru a myriad of bills.

One bill virtually no one is talking about is @SenTomCotton’s Section 622, of the FY27 Intelligence Authorization Act which locks US into permanent unbreakable intel entanglement with Israel https://t.co/Eu53rMY779 pic.twitter.com/0FSBevAC1Y
Moreover, companion bills HR 7540 and S. 3855, introduced by Reps. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) and Don Davis (D-NC) and Sens. Ted Budd (R-N.C.) and Kristen Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) respectively – all of whom have received tens of thousands in AIPAC donations – comprise the FUTURES Act of 2026 (United States-Israel Framework for Upgraded Technologies, Unified Research, and Enhanced Security Act of 2026), further entangling the US and Israel.
The FUTURES Act provides $150 million in funding to joint ventures, co-production and integration of Israeli technology into US defense systems.
Furthermore, US legislators in both houses worked across the aisle to introduce the US-Israel Defense Partnership Act via H.R. 1229 and S. 554, which would “increase defense-related cooperation between the United States and Israel,” by creating a cooperative framework to “develop and deploy advanced technologies for countering unmanned systems,” as well as establish a “Defense Innovation Unit” inside Israel.
The bill’s authors, Reps. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) and Donald Norcross (D-N.J.) and Sens. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) and Gary Peters (D-Mich.), have all received AIPAC funding to the tune of several hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Lastly, a bill introduced by Reps. Marlin Stutzman (R-Ind.) and Abe Hamadeh (R-Ariz.) last week, H.Res. 1339, supports Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s efforts “to transition the US-Israel relationship toward mutual defense cooperation and joint economic investment,” while “recognizing the contributions of Israel to joint military operations against Iran and condemning the global rise of antisemitism.”
Netanyahu personally thanked Stutzman last week for endorsing “his plan” for US-Israeli defense cooperation.
All of the proposed legislation is still going through legislative hurdles, but together they provide a startling look at how Israel is attempting to make the US military and intelligence apparatuses dependent on it by entangling itself deeper into American defense frameworks, making future decoupling from Israel all but impossible.
