President Donald Trump said that after the Israeli and Iranian missile strikes Sunday the two warring nations will likely refrain from further hostilities for a week or so. This statement comes after Trump told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he better be careful or the Jewish State will find itself fighting the Islamic Republic on its own.

Following the Israeli bombardment of Beirut, Lebanon, Iran launched a retaliatory strike against Israel Sunday.

“Now they’ve called it quits, so they’re gonna just leave each other alone for another week or something,” Trump said. “We’re in the final throes of what will be a very, very good deal that will not allow in any way, shape, or form nuclear weapons, etc.”

Netanyahu continues to prevent Trump from attaining a peace deal with Iran by attacking Lebanon.

“I said, ‘Do what’s right, but I want you to stop as quickly as you can,’ because they have to stop. It’s had to do with Lebanon, and it has to stop. We want to get it finished,” Trump said he told Netanyahu.

On Sunday the President called the Prime Minister and asked him to lay off the attacks. He warned him that if he continues the war he may find himself fighting alone.

“I said, ‘Bibi, you better be careful, or you will be on your own very soon,'” Trump told Axios.

Netanyahu told his senior military commanders to cease fire after the call.

While he obeyed Trump’s request in the short term, the President’s statement that Israel and Iran will stop fighting “for another week or something” indicates he doesn’t expect the ceasefire to last very long.

On Monday Axios said of their interview with Trump:

During the interview, Trump claimed once again that Iran wants a deal and one could be signed soon — a claim he’s made repeatedly during two months of ceasefire.

Trump is not the only one that is hoping Israel stops its war:

Trump told Axios he got calls from five different countries in the region asking him to press Netanyahu to stop.

  • “These countries were very concerned. They love the deal that we have been negotiating,” Trump said.
  • Trump also claimed his administration received messages from the Iranians on Monday morning stating a willingness to stop shooting if Israel did the same.
  • “They called us and said that they are not doing any more attacks and asked us to tell Israel not to do any more attacks,” Trump said.

The Jewish State has been actively preventing the U.S. from attaining a peace deal in the Middle East.

Israel expanded their military ground operations deeper into Lebanon on May 26, past a previous demarcation line (the Yellow Line) that they had established in April.

The 2025 Trump-backed ceasefire between Israel and Hamas allows the Jewish State to control no more than 53% of the Palestinian enclave. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered his military to occupy 70% of the region in late May.

”We now control 60% of the territory in the Strip. You know, we were at 50, we moved to 60,” Netanyahu told the Jordan Valley Conference in the occupied West Bank on May 28. “My directive is to move to… first of all 70%. Let’s start with that.”

  1. Without Israel’s help, radical Islam is going to destroy America like they have already destroyed Europe. American and Israel need each other to survive and overcome radical Islam. Western civilization needs America and Israel to work together or Sharia Law will conquer both nations.

  2. President Donald Trump said that after the Israeli and Iranian missile strikes Sunday the two warring nations will likely refrain from further hostilities for a week or so.<<<<<<<<<<

I say this so I and those close to me can make more 100s of millions/billions of dollars more from manipulating the markets

  3. Remember over a YEAR ago when Chump brokered the one-sided ceasefire that gave Israel an extra 12 hours of bombardment with the offset starting times? Here we are a year and two weeks later and he’s still fumbling around like an incompetent sideline cuck too weak and compromised to do anything right, but still pretending he’s in complete control. The entire world watched the first few months of Chump’s 2nd term and saw how Zelensky defied and played him like an idiot. No nation respects or fears a cuck. Zelensky has looted the US taxpayers for hundreds of billions, even laughing about how half of it just went missing into private pockets. Israel brags about Chump being their loyal bitch. Iran couldn’t give two shits about being bombed and has closed the strait and inflicted all types of damage on the world economy. President Cuck is all about his own imagine and not being booed by MAGA next weekend at Freedom 250.

  4. Israel will interfere any way it can. It has its assets in the USA screaming for escalation.

Trump must act firmly. None of us are sure he will or can do the right thing.

A factor here is US public opinion. If Israel openly defies Trump again, with Trump calling for an end, it will lose lots more supporters in the USA. Trump can push public opinion much worse than it already is against Israel. Israel already has a huge public opinion disaster in the USA. The left can win both houses and cut off Israel funding.

    1. Chump could order a withdrawal at any point. He doesn’t because he is ASKING Israel to pull a false flag attack on the US (perfect timing of this statement right before the 250 year anniversary of America) in order to change public opinion into supporting attacks on Iran. Read between the lines. I doubt he couldn’t care less about the failing economy (has literally already stated that much several times) nor about Israel’s bloodlust (which he’s defended) or the resulting deaths (which he’s simply covered up and denied) in the conflict.

What he cares about is defending his own image as a “strong leader” and protecting his own narcissistic need not to be booed at Freedom 250 so that his fragile ego doesn’t suffer. That’s about the extent he cares about Israel’s military aggression and any “suffering” it causes in lives lost or its impact on the economy. Again, he doesn’t want his beloved Freedom 250 UFC White House party to be spoiled. That’s why he said “Leave Each Other Alone For Another Week Or Something” because it’s all about him this weekend, after that, they can resume the fighting for all he cares.
