A deal between the US and Iran will be finalized within the next 24 hours, according to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

In a post on X, Sharif said the deal is in the closing stages, and that electronic signing would take place this weekend, with technical talks between the two nations in the days after.

“We are closer to a peace deal than ever before,” Sharif wrote.

“With finalisation likely expected in the next 24 hours, Pakistan is preparing for the electronic signing of the peace deal immediately after, followed by technical level talks next week.

“We would like to thank United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran for their ongoing commitment during the negotiations, and we extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in the region for their support. We are confident that this historic peace deal will form a strong foundation for lasting peace.”

In recent days, there have been conflicting reports of the terms of the deal, leading some to claim it is a less favorable version of the agreement reached with the Iranians by President Obama in 2015.

President Trump lashed out on social media after Iranian media reporting on the deal, saying the “terms that Iran leaked out… have NOTHING to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing.”

“Very dishonorable people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as dealing in good faith,” Trump added.

“They better get their act together, and FAST!”

Prime Minister Sharif has said actors “who want to sabotage the peace deal” are conducting a campaign of lying and misinformation, but “peace has never been this close as it is now.”

It is likely that the deal has been agreed by high-level members of the Iranian regime, but has yet to receive the seal of approval from Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.

On Friday, Vice President JD Vance wrote a longer post on X attempting to clarify conflicting reports about the terms of the deal, including whether and how Iran would receive access to its frozen assets, worth billions of dollars.

“I’m seeing a lot of fake information about a potential deal to reopen the Strait and end Iran’s nuclear weapons program,” the Vice President wrote.

“First, the Iranians are not receiving any cash, and no funds are being released for simply signing a deal or attending a meeting. The deal is structured to ensure that the US and its allies concerns are prioritized, and that if the Islamic Republic of Iran meets its obligations, then economic benefits will flow to them and to the entire region. This deal has the potential to remake the region and lead to lasting peace.

“I’ve noticed a couple of bizarre things in the reporting over the last few hours. First, people who (rightly) said Donald Trump was a historic president a month ago now criticizing a deal based on unconfirmed media reports. Second, people who say you can’t trust a word said by the IRGC who apparently believe anonymously sourced social media posts.

“The president is going to get us a good outcome, one way or the other.”

Meanwhile, Israel continues its military activity in Lebanon, and the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations has reported that a tanker off the coast of Oman has been “struck by an unknown projectile in the Port Bow.”

This is a developing story. Alex Jones Live will provide updates as and when they become available. Stay tuned!

  1. When nothing about the timing of ceasefire or peace deal narratives mediated by Pakistan makes any logical sense, it is probably because the script was composed by the Israeli/US hybrid intelligence agency. It makes them the perfect country to hide Iran’s nuclear weapons stockpile from inspectors so “Iran can never have nuclear weapons”, allegedly the goal of this entire war.
That’s just crazy talk, I’m sure peace will prevail.
