A prominent professional football player is facing a slew of felony charges for armed robbery and kidnapping in Florida, authorities say.
The Tampa Police Department (TPD) just released details about the investigation, which was launched in February.
On Feb. 3, Terrion Arnold and several other individuals reported property theft of more than $250,000 from an Airbnb where they were staying in Largo, Florida.
Arnold, a cornerback for the Detroit Lions, and multiple co-defendants then lured several victims to the property whom they mistakenly believed had committed the theft, TPD says.
When the victims arrived at the residence, they were allegedly ambushed in a bedroom and beaten at gunpoint.
The perpetrators reportedly live-streamed the attack to Arnold and other co-defendants who gave instructions during the assault.
A short time later, Arnold arrived at the residence with co-defendants, who went inside and stole personal property from the victims.
The victims were then escorted out of the apartment, forced into their own vehicle, and allowed to depart.
TPD was immediately alerted about the incident and suspects were positively identified by the victims.
Between Feb. 4 and Mar. 21, six suspects were arrested: four black males, one black female, and a white female.
On Wednesday night, Arnold turned himself into TPD and was booked into Orient Road Jail in Hillsborough County on four felony charges of kidnapping and four felony charges of armed robbery.
“Investigators believe, based on evidence gathered, that Arnold was the primary conspirator,” TPD stated.
If convicted, Arnold faces up to life in prison.
“No one has the right to take the law into their own hands. A dispute over missing property does not justify kidnapping, violence, or retaliation,” Florida State Attorney Suzy Lopez wrote on social media.
“We will continue to pursue justice for the three victims by holding everyone accountable for their roles in this crime.”
Arnold signed a 4-year, $14 million rookie contract with the Detroit Lions after being selected in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft.

Once upon a time such behavior would get you immediately expelled from the league. We live in such a degenerate society now that he’ll become the new Kaepernick with Loony Liberals rallying in support of him. He’ll probably even open up a successful GoFundMe to cover his legal bills so he doesn’t have to touch any of his own money and book an appearance on Kimmel to help spread the word.
