MyPillow CEO and founder Mike Lindell announced this week that Dominion Voting Systems dropped its $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit against him and his company.
The Dominion drama started with a February 2021 lawsuit filed against MyPillow and Lindell for $1.3 billion after he repeatedly accused Dominion and fellow voting machine company Smartmatic of being involved in the rigging of the 2020 presidential election.
A judge found Lindell guilty without a jury trial, just like the courts did to Alex Jones in the Sandy Hook case.
Jones and Lindell discussed the tactic used against them during an October 2025 interview.
Lindell later sued both voting machine companies, eventually dragging on the litigation so long that Dominion agreed to dismiss the lawsuit if Lindell would do the same.
Both Lindell and Dominion agreed “to the dismissal of all claims and causes of action asserted…with prejudice,” meaning they cannot file additional lawsuits using the same allegations.
“This doesn’t mean I’m gonna stop fighting these voting machine companies,” Lindell said on Wednesday. “We’re all in to get rid of them, get the paper ballots hand-counted.”
