A shocking street fight in Spain left an African migrant fighting for his life while another was injured and a third was taken into custody, according to reports.
The nightmarish incident unfolded on Thursday afternoon in Torre Pacheco, a municipality in Murcia.
A suspect from Algeria battered a victim from Senegal with a hammer and then slashed the victim’s friend with a broken bottle, La Gaceta reports.
Authorities believe the men began fighting inside a notorious squat house where they were all living before the altercation spilled outside.
Witness footage circulating on social media shows the perpetrator covered in blood as he paces the sidewalk and menaces bystanders.

The victim can be seeing lying motionless in a pool of blood on the sidewalk as cars pass by on the busy road.
“Not again. Torre Pacheco. The same old thing. But we won’t get used to it. We won’t. The Spanish won’t. They have to be thrown out,” stated Jorge Buxadé, Vox Delegation Leader to the European Parliament.
The Senegalese man was rushed to hospital in critical condition while his friend, a migrant from Mali, was treated for a cut to his neck.
The Algerian, whose name is allegedly Ryad, is reportedly “well-known” to local police due to a history of violence and depraved behavior.
It is unclear what charges he may be facing.
