Iran claims to have launched a number of strikes on targets in Kuwait and Bahrain, in retaliation for US strikes on Saturday.
The Revolutionary Guards Corps said it “destroyed eight important US military facilities at the Ali al-Salem base in Kuwait and at the Fifth Fleet naval base in Port Salman in Bahrain.”
The extent of the damage is not clear.
In a statement on X, Kuwait said “any explosions that may be heard are the result of air defense systems intercepting hostile targets.”
At 10pm EST on Saturday, a US official said there had been no US casualties or major damage to US bases; although the official warned the situation was ongoing.
The US military struck Iranian drone, missile and radar sites on Saturday after the Revolutionary Guards attacked commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz for a second time.
President Trump then warned Iran negotiations for lasting peace could end, with disastrous consequences for the Islamic regime in Tehran.
“There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable, and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started.” Trump said on Truth Social.
“If that happens the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist!”

I wonder why Alex has agreed to flag any comments that mention Isreeeel?
There are 92 million people in Iran. Is this another population culling war perpetuated by those on the planet who are determined to outlive us all?
