An illegal alien from Haiti who was unleashed into the U.S. by the Biden regime has been charged with stabbing a coworker to death at a meat processing plant in Michigan last week.
The disturbing incident unfolded on June 29, but the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) just released information about the suspect’s immigration background.
Valmir Djempsley, 20, became involved in a dispute with Brandon Eduardo Velasquez Chavez, 21, at a Clemens Food Group facility in Coldwater, Michigan.
Djempsley told authorities Chavez was using his assigned knife, and when he tried to take it back, Chavez attempted to headbutt him — a claim that has not been corroborated by witnesses, according to WWMT.
While chasing Chavez with a blade in hand, Djempsley stabbed him in the back, authorities say.
Chavez succumbed to his injuries at the scene and Djempsley was arrested and charged with murder.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer against Djempsley, who illegally crossed the southern border into Texas in 2024 and was subsequently released into the interior by Biden’s Border Patrol.
“This illegal alien barbarically stabbed his coworker to death,” said DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.
“This murderer was released into American communities by the Biden Administration. If it weren’t for the reckless open border policies of the Biden Administration, this criminal never would have been in our country in the first place and his victim would still be alive. We have lodged a detainer asking Michigan to not release this dangerous criminal from jail without notifying ICE.”
Djempsley is due back in court for a probably cause hearing on July 9.
