Incredible footage that went viral over the weekend featured a transgender college student in Florida descending into an unhinged fit of rage after a police officer referred to him as a man.

The incident unfolded at the University of Central Florida near Orlando on Feb. 5, 2025, as officers responded to a disturbance and encountered blue-haired Jarrett Vick, 27, who went into a full-blown meltdown after the officer used a “he” pronoun.

Body cam footage released by YouTube channel “Inside The Blue TV” on Friday showed the situation immediately went off the rails as soon as the officer arrived, with the trans person yelling at him as the officer warned him to lower his voice or he’d soon be in handcuffs and under arrest.

“Fucking try it,” the trans person told the officer, who asked, “Are you threatening me?”

“Can we get another unit to deal with um, J. Lee here? He is having a breakdown,” the officer radioed to dispatch, triggering the unhinged trans person.

“She! She! Just say the right pronoun!” Vick screamed at the top of his lungs, prompting the officer to pull out pepper spray and advance toward him.

The episode got worse from there, with Vick continuing to flip out and scream at the officer, refusing to get on the ground as another officer arrived to help handcuff him.

“Get away! F–k you! F–k you, cop!” Vick shouted at the officers, telling them he’s being caused “a lot of distress.”

The confrontation next turned surreal when Vick requested the officer use his preferred pronouns as he threatened to pepper spray him.

“I’m gonna spray him,” the officer said, as Vick complained, “No. Please don’t spray. Don’t say him – Her!”

“Okay. Her. I’m gonna spray her,” the officer shot back, with Vick replying, “Thank you.”

After Vick continued to resist, the officer pulled out his taser, demonstrating the device’s electric shock before ultimately using the taser on him.

Still Vick was noncompliant, until the officer pulled his feet out from underneath him sending him falling to the floor, at which point the assisting officer was able to get both of Vick’s hands in handcuffs.

“You did tase him right?” an officer asked, prompting Vick to continue shouting at officers to refer to him as “her.”

After Vick was placed in a police cruiser and out of earshot, officers outside the vehicle discussing the situation repeatedly referred to him as a male.

Vick reportedly pled not guilty to charges of battery on law enforcement, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct, with the New York Post reporting the cases now show they’ve been closed.
