A home surveillance camera captured the moment a pair of porch pirates got into a fight trying to steal a package right after it was delivered by Fedex.
Footage of the June 2024 incident in Sinking Spring, Penn., resurfaced on social media this week, showing an item being dropped off by a FedEx worker just moments before a vehicle pulled up and a man exited sprinting towards the porch.
But just as the man jumped over a hedge to reach the porch, a second man arrived out of nowhere wearing a mask and lunged at the first thief with a knife, successfully forcing him to back away and giving the second thief enough time to grab the package.

The second thief took another swipe at the other before running off, with the first would-be thief grabbing a flower pot to defend himself or as a consolation prize.
ABC7 reports people were inside the home when the incident unfolded, with residents later saying the delivery from AT&T contained iPhones.
“How did they find out these phones were being delivered? Something fishy is going on here,” the resident later asked on Facebook.
At the time, Lower Heidelberg Township police chief Chris Stouch noted, “You have to be some sort of loser to be driving around stealing people’s packages.”
“But to have these two scumbags come into our community and get into a potentially deadly altercation over stealing a package is unbelievable and I really look forward to catching and apprehending these guys because I want to make an example of them,” Stouch added.
Police later apprehended one suspect, Edgar Rosario-Fernandez, 29, in December of that year, noting the men were fighting over a package containing five iPhones.
However, the second man who brandished the knife and stole the package was never identified.
