Israeli strikes in Lebanon are reported to have killed 13 people on Saturday, as US-mediated peace talks are set to resume.
Attacks killed four people near Beirut, with more than 85 separate targets hit, including rocket launchers, weapons depots, manufacturing facilities and buildings used by Hezbollah, the IDF claimed.
Three Israeli soldiers were wounded by explosive drone attacks on Israeli territory.
Hezbollah sorties against troops in Lebanon failed to cause any casualties.
Israel and Hezbollah have continued to exchange attacks despite the ceasefire that took effect, with US backing, on 16 April.
The ceasefire does not prevent Israel from making “defensive” strikes against Hezbollah, but it has stopped Israeli forces from moving beyond the buffer zone south of the Litani river.
On Thursday, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the military had killed the head of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan force in a strike on Beirut.
“He likely read in the press that he had immunity in Beirut. Well, he read it and it is no longer the case,” Netanyahu said in a statement.
Peace talks will resume on Thursday in Washington DC.
For the first time, diplomatic representatives from Israel and Lebanon will be joined by military representatives.
They are expected to discuss a plan that would involve a full Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon and the disarming of Hezbollah.
